Hogar Belen is a community of the RNDM sisters caring for abandoned and handicapped children. These children live with the Sisters in the community. The centre provides a shelter, assistance and physiotherapy services for the handicapped children and those abandoned by their families. Since the spreading of the COVID-19 pandemic, RNDM sisters are looking at efficient ways to prevent the contagion among the residents of the centre. Their goal is to protect and improve life and health conditions of the children and the staff.
GOALS: To protect and improve health conditions of the residents of the centre.
ACTIVITIES: Installing a hand washing system, provide personal protective equipment for the staff and the residents
BENEFICIARIES: Handicapped and abandoned children living in Hogar Belen.
REQUEST: Financial support is required to install hand washing system and purchasing personal protective equipment.
