By sharing our joyful presence, we are in fact letting others participate in the Divine missions rooted in love. December has been a blessed year for us in Balay Euphrasie. Together, with our TP participants we sang Christmas carols with our friends in Catalunan Grande. It was an opportunity for us to share our internationality. Truly, inspite of the differences in culture, we can sing as one! In turn, we were overjoyed by our friends’ generosity and amazing hospitality.
The joy flowed through our staff Christmas party. This is our simple way of expressing our gratitude for our partners in mission who have lovingly shared life and mission with us.
Finally, the gift we received is the gift we gave to 60 poor families whom mostly are scavengers in Purok 2, Ma-a Dumpsite in collaboration with their Chapel and Barangay leaders. We hope we can give more. Deep in our hearts, no matter how small our gifts were, it is the love and joy that we carry that brought smiles to those whom we have shared our paths with.
