The Physically challenged children are a major issue in most villages of Bijapur district. Their families fail to cope with this problem and such children are considered a curse to the whole family. Many lack basic needs and have serious health conditions.
Location: Almel is a village in Bijapur district in the Indian state of North Karnataka.
Goals: the project intends to support physically challenged children with medical and basic needs in order to reduce the burdensome of the family
Activities: The sisters visit these families regularly to give medical care, provide nutritious food and medicines as well as meet their basic needs along with sustainability programs.
Beneficiaries: 100iphysically challenged children who belong to poor families and daily wage earners living in remote villages.
Request: The project requires financial support to reach out and support the physically challenged children and their families.
