Context

The Menubu Dulangan is an indigenous tribe in Kulaman.  Most people live at a subsistence level depending on good weather conditions for their agricultural-based livelihood.  The tribal communities have been displaced by the influx of the settlers in the area which caused their minoritization and movement to the interior parts of the municipality. They live far from the town and have less access to education, health, and other facilities.  Since there is no electricity and groundwater in most villages, shortage of water for sanitation and hygiene is a daily challenge.
