URGENT SUPPORT FOR EARTHQUAKE SURVIVORS IN MYANMAR

Context

“The devastating earthquake is the latest tragedy that hit Myanmar over and above the existing suffering the country has been facing under the military coup, economic collapse, floods, and other calamities. The suffering is unimaginable and the country
needs urgent support.

Access to clean water and electricity is limited in many regions, and infrastructure, including roads and bridges, which have been severely damaged, making aid delivery difficult. Some hospitals have been crushed and people are being treated outside on the streets. Healthcare facilities are overwhelmed, and the risk of waterborne diseases is high. Food, water and medicines are urgently needed to save the lives of people.

For the last four years, the RNDM Sisters and our missions have been living through the above conflicting realities. In spite of this, the sisters have volunteered themselves to go to the affected areas to help those who are most devastated due to the effect of the earthquake. We invite you to join hands with us in supporting to provide food, medicine, water and other basic necessities to meet the emergency need of the suffering people of Myanmar. Your generosity will be much appreciated at this challenging time.
