RNDMs Central Province reaching out during Covid-19 Pandemic

Provincial House Darga Road sponsored a meal for 250 sex workers in collaboration with Mary Ward Social Centre (Loreto sisters) on 16th June 2021. Sisters Monica Riahtam and Phulkeria Minj went to the centre to pack the meals (Rice, lentils, chicken & salad) and to cut the vegetables for the next day. At noon sisters with the staff took the food packets and distributed the meals to them. It was a rich and unique experience of serving them and to see the realities of women and children in those areas.

“Free Medical Consultation and medical care for Covid-19”

In the month of July 2021 Sr. Phulkeria Minj volunteered to give free service to the Medical Camp organized by the Salesian Fathers at Don Bosco, Nitika for the poor and needy of Kolkata.  Sister was helping in giving out the medicines to the patients with doctor’s prescription. It was a wonderful experience of serving the poor.
