It was a wonderful and memorable one to get this amazing experience here in St Mary’s School Mawlumñiang Nongstoiñ to see the scenic beauty of these villages around. Within this short time of my stay here my moments are filled with memories, blessings and life giving experiences. We are breathing fresh air because of the beautiful greenery around us, and also we could hear the chirping of the sparrows every morning, and the hill is so captivating that we can’t take off our eye once it caught us. Apart from the beautiful environment I had a great, wonderful and joyful time with the little ones in the school as well as in the villages. At times I taught them and they taught me too as the saying goes ‘give and take’. It was also a challenge to be like a mother who would show love, care, concern, patience and thoughtfulness towards them. There were so many activities where I get a chance to involved myself in those programmes to teach children to sing, dance, role play that had helped me in one way to integrate myself and to build my confidence. The Pre- Christmas celebration was a memorable day for me to enjoy with our little ones to proclaim to others the coming of the Child Jesus into this world had filled us with joy, love, hope, peace and happiness, and I wish the same graces and blessings to each one of you dear sisters.
